The USDA-FAS sponsors the Cochran Fellowship Program to provide training to mid-level managers from lower to middle-income countries in selected agricultural topics that will strengthen trade linkages with the US.
A training program is requested concerning phytosanitary regulations for products of plant origin for six mid-level managers from Macedonia. Key topics of the program include: “phytosanitary certificates, integrated pest management, pest risk assessments, pesticides, and the registration of plant products.”
Other details, including detailed learning objectives, are in the attached document (page 21). Application details are also in the document. The document includes the solicitation for all four programs available at this time, but I’ve broken them out to make it easier for you to distribute to different groups at your institution.
Please note that the closing date for applications is Friday, 19 June 2015.
