We are pleased to send you the Save the date for the gender and climate change online discussion to be held from 30 June to 1 July 2015.
How gender aware is your work? Why is it important to integrate gender into climate change policies and programmes?
Join the online debate anytime on 30th June and 1st July 2015
As part of the UK’s International Climate Fund (ICF): Enhancing Capacity to Deliver Gender programme we are planning an online discussion to bring together people working in the field of gender and climate change to share experiences and best practice. The discussion is a practical way to learn more about why gender dimensions are crucial to successful climate policy and programmes and aims to provide a space for participants to share examples, both good and bad.
The discussion will run live for 48 hours. We know your time is precious so we have structured the event to allow participants to take part at any time in this 48 hour period and to dip in and out of the conversation. Online facilitators from Ricardo – AEA and the Institute of Development Studies will be on hand to comment and pose new questions. Further information on discussion topics and a discussion guide will be sent to participants in advance, to help you plan your involvement.
Please sign up now by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org and save the date in your diary.
We want to encourage participation from a broad range of stakeholders in this area, so please pass this invitation on to your networks.
