On May 5th 2016, Colorado State University Office of Engagement along with Office of Research and College of Agricultural Sciences hosted the daylong conference “Focus on Climate Smart Agriculture conference”. More than 25 speakers enlightened the audience on topics related to Climate Smart Agriculture discussing how CSA can help feed the future, current climate and trends on future projections and climate adaptation and mitigation examples among others. Scientists with different background from CSU and other institutions were present along with community leaders, farmers, extension specialists and others. Overall, the conference provided a lucid content of the current situation and clear perspectives of potential solutions and obstacles moving forward.
